Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and the business that operates LotQuote ("we", "us"). By creating an account or ordering a package you agree to them.
The service
LotQuote is software for trade businesses: a website estimate form, official property boundaries, satellite measuring, quoting, and jobs and invoices. Our packages add setup, training and, on Complete, a website.
Our website lists what is live today and what is still being connected or coming soon. We only promise features that are live.
Free trial
You can try the software free for 14 days with no card needed.
Packages, fees and payment
Before you pay anything, we set out in writing the package, what it includes, the setup fee, the monthly fee, any deposit, when each is due and how cancelling works. If your written order differs from these terms, your order applies.
Running and paying for advertising is not included unless your order says so.
Licences bought under earlier terms
A lifetime licence bought under our earlier terms keeps the terms it was sold with.
Measurements and boundaries are aids, not surveys
Boundaries come from Australian state and territory government cadastres and measurements are taken from satellite imagery. They are made for quoting; they are not a survey. Confirm site conditions and final quantities before committing to a fixed price, and confirm anything that depends on the exact boundary with a licensed surveyor. You are responsible for the prices you quote.
Your data and your customers
Your quotes, customers and measurements belong to you, and you can export them at any time. We hold them on your behalf and never sell them.
You are responsible for having the right to collect your customers' details and to contact them, including following the Spam Act for messages you send through LotQuote.
Your website and domain
If we build your website, your domain is registered in your name. Your order sets out what happens to hosting if you stop.
Acceptable use
No scraping government data through our service, no reselling access and no attempting to reach other businesses' data. Fair-use limits apply to expensive operations such as PDF generation and boundary lookups; normal quoting never hits them. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its data providers.
Changes
We improve LotQuote over time. We will tell you before a change that materially affects what you have ordered.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
